Mexico 2025 - Day 2
March 10: The overnight temperature made for a chilly start to the day. Blue skies all around though. The RV park was next to a date palm grove which made my walk with Sunny yesterday and this morning very pleasant. The drive was uneventful except that Lucky just doesn't like winding roads and there were many miles of such roads. We headed out just before 11 am, destination Protrero Campground, a San Diego County Park, which is about 30 minutes from the Mexican border. We arrived and got settled in by about 3:30 pm. After our "linner" (late lunch, early dinner) and a couple of walks with the dogs, we joined our fellow travelers at the first meet and greet get-together. Tomorrow we will be getting our tourist visas at the border. Since we are not towing our Jeep, we will be taken by one of the Fantasy RV Tour Ambassadors.
