East Coast Trip 2024 - July 10
July 10: We woke up later than usual, the fog lifted and we saw blue skies and scattered clouds. Lucky has a cat tube and when we are stationary, we've started keeping it in the front window. Her warm (plug in) bed has a permanent home on the dashboard and she loves the scenery. Our drive today was only 72 miles and most of those miles were on a 4-lane highway. Not much to see along the tree-lined route so not many pictures. We arrived at our spot in Saint John, NB, for the next couple of nights by about 12:30 pm. Rain is in the forecast during our stay and we hope it won't put a "damper" on our stay. Close to our campground is a lovely restaurant and all travelers enjoyed a meal together in two shifts, ours was at 4:30 pm. The restaurant is known for its seafood chowder which we enjoyed with a dessert to follow.
